It's the end of the world as we know it... and we feel... fine?

Also keeps Gordon out of CF and Soler out of LF, which is fine by me.

Although I was intrigued by the idea of Whit in CF and Mondesi at 2B. But it's pretty clear they want to start Mondesi (and Dozier) at Omaha.

Dayton apparently wants to save them as fire power for our stretch run.

I like the Jay signing. Dude has always been a gamer. Agree that he should be a top of the order guy. Good LHB add.

Jon Jay will be the best lead off hitter the Royals have had since Alex Gordon was making hay in that spot.

His ability to get on base is a plus skill.

They're definitely not tanking.

Vegas released odds of who leads off after this signing and Escobar is still -500 with the field at +2000

I assume you're kidding (and this is an outstanding joke), but I'm afraid you actually aren't.

I read somewhere that batting, Esky’s WAR is less than Madison Bumgarner’s over the last 2 seasons. I love his ability in the field but no way can we go in with him batting leadoff.

Big fan of the Jay signing. He is a quality big leaguer and a helluva guy. I think KC will love him.

That's assuming Ned bats him where he should.
