KU is likely going to get beat pretty early in the tournament regardless of what happens this week. They're not very good. And as much as it is a crapshoot, the worse you are, the less margin for error you have. [Reply]

Nothing to mourn or feel sorry about.
Well, if you happen to be surrounded by KSU fans, you are allowed to mourn that.
I wouldn’t be too upset about the streak likely ending had it not been because of Self choking away the end of that WVU game. He completely mismanaged the last 2:30 of that game against a shit opponent.
We win that game and we control our own destiny right now.
I can stomach the other losses, because we just got beat. Giving one away like that in what may end up as a one game race is a tough pull to swallow. [Reply]

Nobody thought they'd make the final 4 last year either. They are 5-1 since losing to Kstate and are playing like they got some things figured out. [Reply]
Kinda crazy to think this K State game is likely going to win at least a share when far better teams couldn’t:
-The Durant Texas team in ‘07
-The Blake Griffin/Willie Warren OU team in ‘09
-The Buddy Hield OU team in ‘16
-The Marcus Denmon Missouri team in ‘12 [Reply]

Overperformed, but they were actually a top 10 team last year and had a #1 seed to help them. This year they will only have a #3-4 seed. Big difference. [Reply]

That one hurts, no doubt about it. But KU wins the lion's share of close games. We could have easily beat WVU. But we could have easily lost to TCU down by four with a minute left. [Reply]
