It's the end of the world as we know it... and we feel... fine?

2018 is a season of transition for the Royals, or at least it is at this point. Dayton Moore is back. Will he swing full into THE PROCESS 2.0? Or will he try to load up again and make some reload magic happen?

Jay was a 1+ WAR every day outfielder last year and always seemed to come in clutch when he was in St. Louis. Dayton and company showing yet again that they’re not in 100% rebuild mode.

How I read it is that we don't have the prospects available for a full rebuild, so the 1 year contracts to allow the kids to mature in the minors a bit more.

Bubba Starling is dealing with an oblique issue. The Royals will back off him for a bit, Ned Yost said.

Works for me. Jay is a career .288/.355 guy. We need guys with higher OBP, and that would NOT include Paulo Orlando. Other than his last year in STL ('15), he's been a decently reliable player
