The Chiefs have released Berry with a post-June 1 designation, a source tells me. Means the Chiefs will save around $9.5m on the cap this year and $5.5m next year.

Damn I just got back and heard the news. Wow. I know we all wanted it and it had to be done but... just feels so surreal. In a weird way it's like the closing of a really, really long chapter in Chiefs Football. I'm happy, but I'm also sad.
