Good points. Maybe throw Sean Payton or Pete Carroll I’m there but next head coach should have a defensive mind [Reply]

I don't care what the combination of runs, screens, mass protects are but if Reid leaves Mahomes on an island with a bad wheel again then we deserve what we get. If Mahomes can move then less concerned, but still we need to protect the guy and help pace the game so our defense isn't playing 40 minutes and Mahomes isn't getting hit every time he passes. Really just depends which Denver team decides to show up...
Mahomes is 3-0 vs Denver, winning twice in Denver.
In the 2 games @ Denver, he's thrown for 284 and 304 yards with 62% completion both times for a combined 1 TD and 1 INT.
The big win @ KC... he was 303 with a 70% completion and 4 TDs when KC lost the TOP battle by 5 minutes and only ran the ball 18 times for 40 yards, compared to 189 for Denver.
Sound familiar?
Denver had an early lead and was down 14-16 until all hell broke loose in the 3rd quarter with turnovers by DEN and TDs by KC.
My 3 Keys for a Denver win: One - 29, 22 and 30 were the combined rushing attempts by Denver in those last 3 games vs Mahomes - they need to reach 40.
Two - they need to stop settling for FGs. On their last 9 drives of 8 or more plays, one ended on downs, one was a missed FG and one was a TD... the other 6 were all FGs. You can't keep failing to maximize the long drives and just walk away with 3 that often.
Three - tie the turnover battle, don't lose it... don't necessarily have to win that battle, but don't lose it
I'm not worried a great deal about TOP, if I'm being honest. Long sustained drives should get you there... but they need to win the rushing battle, stop settling for FGs and don't lose the turnover battle.
Here is a breakdown from our research department about Patrick Mahomes’ play pre ankle injury and post ankle injury in the game where it was injured and the games that it’s been re-aggregated. pic.twitter.com/PlPyczbI8o
Before every Broncos-Chiefs game, I'm reminded of one of the greatest quotes, courtesy of Chris Harris Jr. He was asked about the challenge of defending Tyreek Hill: "You can’t be scared. If you’re scared, go to church."

This has been the biggest mystery to me this season. I thought this guy was going to be the next KHunt, and Andy’s barely let him play all year. Even when McCoy and Williams was hurt. [Reply]
Well, I hate to admit it, but I picked Denver to win tonight.
Same crucial idiots are still out. Short week. Thin air. And New England's finest still want to make sure the Chiefs get buried in the standings just in case the Cheatriots start to falter.
