In my mind, this is what I’m looking at here for KC...
Next season rolls around. We’re headed to Oakland to face a nice set of WRs (AB, Tyrell Williams, Jordy?)... what set of corners on your depth chart do you want to potentially line up against them?
a) Fuller, Darby, Ward, maybe Verrett and maybe an early draft pick
or
b) Fuller, Ward, early draft pick, ......
You get the point by now. We need a starter, we need depth. The whole package really. I’m juiced about potentially adding Darby and Verrett if he wants to tag along too. [Reply]

Yep. Stack the secondary. Maybe we can begin to build a top notch unit back there [Reply]
I bet if the raiders or broncos or chargers signed this guy there would be a lot of “how does veach not even look at this guy when we need corners!?” [Reply]

Can anyone really be 100% counted on? Guys get hurt, it’s football. If they pass their physical and don’t expect to have any issues, give them a chance. It’s not like a Berry situation where there is tons of uncertainty.
They could trade for Rhodes tomorrow and that doesn’t mean he won’t blow his knee out in August or November. Shit happens. [Reply]

This could happen as well. One doesn’t mean the other not happening. They’ll still have some leftover cap and can create more by cutting Sorensen and Murray. [Reply]
If the choices are overpay for Darby or get rid of your 2 for some random above average corner I'm going Darby every time. You guys need to factor in opportunity cost here, that pick could be a starter who's a game changer. [Reply]
