Injury Update: I’m getting surgery today. I was hoping to recover enough to get back for playoffs/Super Bowl but that didn’t happen. It’s time to address the issue. The recovery process isn’t too long, which is nice. Looking forward to a healthy 2021! #Chiefs#ChiefsKingdompic.twitter.com/etGfSoCCd6
Successful surgery, now the recovery process starts. Thanks to everyone who reached out, messaged, etc today! Means a lot to me. And thanks to my wife Brooke as always for taking care of me! pic.twitter.com/6dI7jmD661
Great news. Brooke's mother apparently passed away a month ago too. Seems like she had a hard day esp since she couldn't be with Mitch. Her instagram had explanation of why he waited and talked about her mom, pretty touching. Glad to see this image. [Reply]
I wonder if part of the delay on his surgery was that a lot of surgeries were being postponed during the worst of the COVID outbreak. My nephew is an ortho doc and a lot of his surgeries are just now being rescheduled. [Reply]

I googled covid opt-out and can't find anything that says they can't have any contact. Where's you source? Not trying to be a smartass, just don't find it anywhere. I'm sure there's a guideline somewhere but I don't find it. [Reply]
Great news on Schwartz. If they’re confident he’s healthy and that Niang or Remmers or Prince can handle LT either for the season or until Fisher is healthy, it changes the outlook a lot.
There are some exciting T in this draft who are more development that should be round 3/4 picks. James Hudson of Cincinnati, D’Ante Smith of East Carolina. [Reply]

I'd be OK with that if they are real Ts, not a college T that fits better as a NFL guard. Seems like we've been down that road before and we still don't have either. [Reply]

They both have the size and athleticism to play T in the NFL. Adrian Ealy of Oklahoma is another guy that fits into this category.
I think Hudson's arms are a little on the short side.
All three are guys that could need a year or two of development to take the raw edges off, then kick out to a T and be good players there. In the mean time, I think all would be options to play inside right away. [Reply]
