CB’s were bad last year, especially Scandsuck. [Reply]

The CB's were trash last year. Luckily Ward started to improve as the year went on, but Tremon, Scandrick, Nelson, and even Fuller, were all trash. [Reply]
Doesn’t sound serious if he’s riding shotgun in the golf cart...
Mecole Hardman is being taken up to the locker room in the front of the cart. He’s likely done for the day. We’ll have more info soon. Looks like it could be a shoulder. #Chiefs

31st ranked defenses must sit well with you... Bob Sutton and the back half of the defense were the primary reason last year. I honestly can't sit here and say the linebackers and DL were any good as well since they couldn't stop the run, but at least they applied pressure. [Reply]
CB is a really easy position to flip out about because when those guys get beat it's easy to see, where like when Chris Jones rushes the passer and loses his contain on a run, no one notices him persay they just go with "oh jesus look at that hole". [Reply]

Ragland will probably only ever play in the "base" since Spags typically goes with bigger LB's for run defense in that.
Probably looking at a Hitchens-Ragland-Wilson base, I expect that set to play maybe 15% of the time.
I think Darron Lee will get playing time but right now DOD kind of looks like the odd man out as Damien Wilson is seeing a lot of nickel snaps, Hitchens is getting them all and Ragland has even seen some. [Reply]
Dave Toub says the #Chiefs are trying to prepare Mecole Hardman to get more return work and take some of it off of Tyreek Hill. Called the rookie a “work-in-progress.” Still doesn’t want to eliminate the role for Hill, likes the threat. Also mentions Byron Pringle for reps there.
