Nzoner's Game Room>Official 2017-2018 NBA Playoffs thread!
Al Bundy 08:21 PM 04-13-2018

We'll see if the Warriors recover from the end of the season stretch of stinkers.

You don't really think he was going back if they didnt have Kyrie and the 1 overall to trade do you?

Tom Brady has been playing in a shit conference ever since Manning left. Zero real competition.

We holding that against him too?

Do you mean for all the bitching about Cleveland’s roster?

If so, I agree.

New York, Detoit, Indiana. That was pretty easy.

To be fair, the media doesn't need to do squat, it comes up on Twitter and this thread every single game. Every single game is a referendum between the two. It's gotten old. They had much different careers and played in completely different eras.

I don't think he would've gone back if he didn't think they could acquire someone on Love's level.

The pick being #1 is irrelevant.

There has never been teams like the Broncos, Steelers, or Ravens in Lebron’s run, hence why Brady lost to those teams. Give me a fucking break.

The '93 Knicks were good enough, but they played an ugly-ass brand of basketball. The '92 Cavs were good, too. The Pistons that the Bulls beat in '91 were at the end of their rope, but Jordan took them to the absolute limit (and lost) when they went 8-1 in the Finals in '89 and '90. The '96 Magic were damned good and the Bulls just pistol whipped them.

Like MJ would have done any better in this situation.
Lebron had all the help he needed in Miami but could only win 2 of 4 championships there (including an awful loss to the Mavs), so why was that?

It was Lebron’s choice to leave a talented team to go to the Cavs. That’s on him.

But don’t worry. He’s gonna opt out after this season and leave these losers behind and go to join and form another super team. It’s the Lebron way.

He's probably still going to be wildly underrated. He got a team missing it's two best players to within a game of the Finals. If he'd gotten them to the Finals it probably would have been the greatest coaching accomplishment in modern NBA history. It still might be. I can't think of another team that made the Finals in that situation. Yeah LeBron is playing with a bunch of scrubs but he's still the greatest player in the world today. There is absolutely no way Boston should have even been in this position, let alone one game from the Finals.

Since that Dallas series, LeBron has faced elimination 15 times, here are the numbers:

Just incredible how clutch he is. It feels like he's reached the point in his career where he blocks out the pressure and doesn't care about the outcomes and it's let him play freely in a way that he didn't 5-10 years ago. He's accomplished everything you can accomplish in this sport and records are falling with every game he plays. There's nothing left for him to prove and he knows it.

While Reggie was over rated those Pacer teams have been hugely underrated.
