The original Bushwood thread is overflowing like Craig Stadler's FUPA.
Use this thread to discuss tournaments, swing thoughts, equipment, and golf deals.
I thought we could also use the OP to create a WITB for ChiefsPlanet members. I'll list a poster's name and put their sticks in a spoiler tag, so you can see what everyone is carrying. [Reply]

A true test of golf is to reward a good shot & penalize a bad one. Minimize luck as much as possible. It doesnt appear this course does that. Its just the USGA wanting to make scores high because thats what fans want & have come to expect out of the US Open [Reply]

I know what a true test of golf is nice lecture though.
The US Open separates the men from the mice. [Reply]
Also, I have to hand it to Poulter for calling out the fans. Golf isn't football. The fans at these events are getting out of control. I get embarassed by the fans at the TPC every year. Even passed up a chance to go on Sunday cause I don't want to witness that. [Reply]

Putting is dumb. Lets go to sand greens. Pick it up once you hit the green. Inside 10 feet count as 1 stroke. 10-30 feet 2 strokes. More than that 3. Golf would go by much quicker too. I mean, who actually enjoys putting? Not me. [Reply]

Typical golf thinking. I think what they did at I think TPC on Arizona with all the stadium seating & such on 16 or 17 is a great thing for the game. Its ONE hole. One hole like that is fine and it gives some spectators a chance to come out. [Reply]

I wouldn't even go to the British Open if I was a pro. Id protest. I think some guys have done that before. Unbearable conditions when the wind is blowing. [Reply]

I would, but golfing in Kansas prepares you for wind...ask Tom Watson, he did pretty well there. :-) [Reply]
