GS injuries led to Iguodala and Boogie getting more playing time. You know who started in place of Kyrie & Love? Dellavadova started and played 40 minutes / game. The 5th spot was such a mess that CLE relied on Shumpert & James Jones. Outside of Lebron, the 2015 Cavs might have had the all-time worst NBA finals roster in history.
Klay\Steph aren't on Lebron's\KD\Kawhi's level, they are great and HOF players but a step below those guys.
Hell the Raptors ran a box and 1 multiple games in the NBA Finals which is all you need to know about the GS roster. In a close out game they ran out Livingston-Cook-Mckinnie-Jerebko-Cousins lol. Probably the worst lineup in Finals history because GS was decimated. I love Iggy but he is 35 and playing with a bad knee and calf injury that he hurt in the Rockets series and Boogie who came back from an Achilles injury then he hurt his quad and was out months until the Finals.
I have been saying for weeks, this isn't the same GS team they have no depth\bench because of their salary commitments. The Raptors had an overall better team but a healthy GS team this is a sweep or 5 game series we all know that. [Reply]
Moving forward I don't know what GS is going to do or how all of this will work if they sign KD and Klay who are going to miss all of next season. This is crazy. [Reply]

And it's why I don't mind players doing what they have to do to get a ring. Whether it's creating a superteam like LeBron did or joining an already great team like KD did. Rings aren't guaranteed. Health isn't guaranteed. Win when and how you can and let fans deal with it how they want. [Reply]

Yep totally agree.

Yeah it is not looking good right now. GS may end up paying $200 million in luxury tax by keeping KD and Klay but they won't play next season. This is going to be very interesting to watch what happens. [Reply]

So if they're nothing without Durant, then you'd agree that the 2015 cavs with a healthy Kyrie and Love should have beaten golden state but for injury. Which would make their first title an asterisk sham. I don't think that, by the way. Just being consistent with the current narrative. [Reply]
