He needs to stop doing that. They usually penalize it. Just make the peace sign at the crowd. It's not that hard.

They penalized it once against the Rams. I don't know how that's 'usually'. He's been doing it since 2017.

I think if he just throws up the hand and doesn't look at the guy, he'd get away with it. I think it's bullshit in general to fine or penalize a guy for that anyway.

Some teams are worth the peace sign. Denver's one of them. But yeah, I'd hate to see it cost us something significant. It's a dumb penalty and unevenly enforced by the NFL. Either penalize it every time or never.
