I'm so pumped up right now. What an ending to that game! WVU just totally choked. I feel bad for Daxter Miles. No idea what he was thinking passing up an open look, ESPECIALLY after having the game of his life.

Great coaching by Bill. WVU totally fronting our 3-point shooters with pressure. Instead KU took alot of contact and went for the hoop. Really liked that Svi and Graham didn't throw the game away by getting frustrated by chucking up guarded 3's. Kudos for their shot selection in this game. [Reply]

WVU's entire brand of "basketball" is predicated on fouling as much as possible and knowing that the refs won't be able to call all of the fouls. It should have been an even greater differential. [Reply]

Yeah. But it’s a load of fucking shit that KU “gets all the calls” and the only motherfucker in foul trouble all game was Konate. [Reply]

Honestly, if you watched the game you could easily see why the disparity was that way. WVU settled for jump shots the entire game, because they were making them and shooting out of their mind. So they kept doing it. KU took what the WVU defense gave them for the most part. Throwing it to Doke, driving to the hoop, not taking bad threes. Plus the fouling down the stretch and Huggins double T when the game was decided didn't help. [Reply]

Good post.
However WVU completely pissed that one away. Sure our guys made a few plays but that should have been an easy win with 4:00 left.
The other good thing is Azabuke played like he can. Maybe he’s turned a corner defensively and on the boards [Reply]

That's because whenever Huggins has one of his guys get close to foul trouble, he pulls them and brings in someone else to foul instead. They're all pretty much interchangeable other than Carter (who BTW must have had about a dozen fouls that game that weren't called).
Anyway, what a complete and utter choke by WVU. 3rd one in a row for them too against KU. They've got a mental block at this point. [Reply]

That’s what I’m saying. Carter is the only idiot on the team that can handle the ball. There is no game he’s played in that he shouldn’t be in foul trouble.
Miles too this game. If we are supposed to get all these calls those guys would be in foul trouble all the time.
EDIT: Konate is the guy that fouls the least typically. [Reply]
That should have been loss #4 at home this year. WVU and Huggins just chocked it away. I’ll take it but winning at TT is looking more and more like a real long shot. 13 championships was a good run. [Reply]

Depends if they will have Keenan Evans or not. Without him, I like our chances. Hopefully he can play. Don't want anyone to say KU didn't earn it. [Reply]
