About to hit the 5000 post mark on the old thread, the first season 7 trailer today seems like the right time to start the final Game of Thones thread.
I'm going back to the original rules pre-2015. I don't think we need supervision or bannings. Just don't be a dick. Post anything you find online that hasn't aired yet inside of spoiler tags. That's pretty much it. I think we can all handle that...

I think that Cersei is going to die from pregnancy complications. [Reply]

She already had a legit Baratheon child die in the series.
The implication might be a child who survives infancy.
As much as I'd love Jaime or Arya to kill her, I'm growing warmer to the theory that she dies in childbirth. Leaving the "Throne" empty, while everyone else of substance focuses on the threat up North. [Reply]

Spoiler!
There's been some discussion about this. In the leaked script the closing shot before the Wall fell was going to be Cersei waking up in a bed full of blood. Omitting that could mean they're planning on having it be a fake-out, or that they're going to do something else with that storyline altogether.

I don't believe Maggie the Frog is a thing in the series. So I don't think the '3 children' thing is television cannon.

I think they're saving it for next season, first episode kind of a thing. [Reply]
So... Cersei and Euron had pre-planned for him to take his exit, faking his fear and cowardice before they even had proof of the wight? That was quite the foresight.. [Reply]

Have they mentioned baby-bashed-head Aegon's name in the show? If not, this might just be a similar situation to renaming Asha/Yara. But who fucking knows..
Something cool about that scene: in the books, when he throws Cersei's pleading letter in the flames, he noticed the first snowfall in the Riverlands. In the show, when he finally says "fuck you" to Cersei, he notices the first snowfall over King's Landing (that was a beautiful scene, by the way).
I thought that was a nice nod to book readers.
Some folks over on reddit have confirmed that baby Aegon was indeed explained on the show (by Thoros), so this makes 2 Aegons for Rhaegar. [Reply]
