So I had no idea what I was gonna do for dinner tonight. Went to the store and found a steal in the meat case. Marked down from $45 with a little butchering and grinding required(4/20 expiration lol). Made some hellacious gyros. Made the tzatziki as well as it kicks ass. Got like 3 lbs of ground lamb and a roast I'm gonna smoke on Sunday outta that big ol' leg!
A lamb and oregano meatloaf in lieu of the usual spitroasted chunk, crumbled feta and the homemade tzatziki sauce just ensured a masterpiece... looks incredible :-) [Reply]

Yeah I found a recipe online for the meatloaf that made sense and rolled with it. Did some garlic, onion, oregano, rosemary, salt, pepper, paprika and cumin in there with a olive oil coating.
Nailed it and I will definitely do it again. [Reply]

I will eat at least 3 dressed just like that. Perfect combo.
Sometimes I want yellow mustard or kraut instead but that's the go-to move for me as well. I know you are in on potato buns which is always a good call. [Reply]

I'm filing that one away for near future use, no lie... just grill up that pita bread and its a done deal [Reply]
Pretty sure these are the top or near the top for search results and they're very good if you choose to do so.
You can buy pita at Aldi for like $3 for a 5 pack and they're great. You got leftover, then cut them into triangles and make pita chips and toss them in olive oil and salt and oregano if you like. Then bake at 400 for 6 mins flipping once and you're golden. Air fryer is king but oven obv works. I have spoiled my wife to the point where she won't eat the stuff out of the box anymore and I'm considering buying a food processor to make hummus the right way. [Reply]
Been hitting up this little burger place in Douglass Kansas, called Betty’s. It’s damn good. I know the folks who own it, good people. Here are some of the pictures they have. The burgers are freaking amazing, chili cheese fries are good too.

Tacos?
Lobster roll?
Cajun style rice dish?
Some kinda Italian style pasta?
We did fettuccine Alfredo with langostino tails and scallops. Pretty damn good. [Reply]
