On the negative note, we are 7-1 in close games which means we may even be overachieving.
I hope in the Big 12 tournament Bill puts Cunliffe and DeSousa out there for some minutes. Or when we have clinched the conference or already lost it. We need to get those guys some experience.
This gets brought up every year.
You really need to understand that Bill Self wants to win at all cost. Regardless whether it's a "meaningless" game or a NCAA tournament game.
The guy fucking hates losing. He would rather run Devonte into the ground than a lose a "meaningless" game. [Reply]

Yeah, WTH was that all about? I watched that over and over and there is absolutely no possible explanation for that level of dumbassery. And it was a 2 point game in the 2nd half at that point. I really wish Vick would not get much playing time. At least he was scoring some points in the middle of the zone. [Reply]

I didn't get to see the Vick dunk for Baylor, but that seemed to be the turning point in the game. It was a 2 point game, next possession down we scored and it should have been tied. Instead, we were down 2 and the game went downhill from there.

I don't buy that. His decision to leave Frank Mason out to get mangled in a worthless game against West Virginia may have cost us a title in 16'. [Reply]

The lack of nuances in your thought process is astounding.
A single game elimination tournament is, by default, a crap-shoot to an extent.
The best teams have what, something like a 15% chance of winning it? In fact, the best team in the country rarely wins it. It takes a shitty shooting night from Devonte Graham for Kansas to lose to Oregon.
This is why every other fucking sport has a SERIES in the post season. You know, to make those NOT crap-shoots. [Reply]
