You're basing that on Manziel. EVERY QB drafted by Cleveland failed and it's because of the system they had. If Manziel had been drafted by Reid , which almost happened, we'd be in the 4th year of a whole lot of fun. Watch Mayfield win , he will .And maybe now even if he goes to Cleveland. Ialways liked Mahomes over ther others in that draft so fuck you ! [Reply]

Mayfield failing had nothing to do with Cleveland, and there's not much proof that Reid would've got him off his self destructive path. [Reply]

:-) How so? Reid has just proven he has a limit when it comes to coddling players and their egos (Peters), and with how much of a hot mess Manziel was it would've been much worse. Do you not remember just how bad it got between him and Cleveland? [Reply]

Manziel’s failure had nothing to do with Cleveland. It wasn’t like Manziel showed flashes of brilliance and was being held back by the poor roster or was injured due to a shitty Oline. He sucked because he was a shitty human being who decided football wasn’t important to him. [Reply]

Kyle Shanahan has proven to be a more than capable offensive coordinator and wanted Jimmy G.
Manziel just didn't love football enough to become successful.
It's the same question that Josh Rosen is facing, as he comes from a successful family and doesn't need the NFL for monetary purposes. [Reply]
