Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway. [Reply]

And the most I've enjoyed the playoffs in a a long time..Beats the hell out of the Lakers and shitty Heat team no matter how it goes down. [Reply]
Philly is a true choker team. Harris is so bad in the playoffs consistently and Simmons is completely useless (the Hawks didn’t even have to guard him). They’re going to need to make some changes. [Reply]

It's crazy to think his job might be saved in spite of going against arguably one of the greatest performances in a single series ever in addition to having two members of a super team be hurt/miss games in a series. [Reply]

Sixers coach Doc Rivers was asked postgame if Ben Simmons can be the point guard on a championship team.
"I don't know the answer to that right now," Rivers said.

Yep. If the Nets were fully healthy that is a 5 game series max [Reply]
In this 3 pt era you can’t have Simmons on the court especially if he refuses to be aggressive. I would do anything I could to trade him at this point. [Reply]

Just floored by how lazy Simmons played. I get he has limitations to his offensive game. But he was flat out useless in half court offense. No off ball movement, literally zero effort boxing out. No doubt he is in his own head. [Reply]
Simmons: "We lost, it sucks, I am who I am, it is what it is, it's not easy to win...first thing I'm going to do is clear my mind and get my mental right."
