Because of all the interest in this thread, I've place all of the video content of Patrick Mahomes II's college career, and draft day goodness into a single post that can be found here. Enjoy! [Reply]

-Almost exactly the same body type from height, weight, and body build even down to hand size.
-Same athleticism from the combine
-Same elite level arm talent.
-both grew up around a professional player in the family
-both can throw well outside the pocket
-spread offense/shotgun college system
-played bad competition (poor defenses) in conference
I feel better now after being sad we passed on Carr for so long. Fortunately for Pat, he has elite level coaching to develop him.
I'm still confounded why some of you guys cant just take Dorsey and Reid at their word, it always has to be some other comparison to you guys
Those guys were there, they've seen it all firsthand... not only Favre, but every other QB from that era
Watch this
Its no wonder that one name came up when they wanted a comparison... back foot throws with crazy accuracy, accurate bombs on the move outside the pocket
Dorsey and Reid have seen miles of tape on everyone thats ever been good, and they've seen Favre and Rodgers in person... why is everyone second guessing their comparison? [Reply]

And Carr seems to be forgotten when people say about air raid QBs not translating to the Pros. Fresno State ran a very similar system. [Reply]

Well, Hopkins and Fuller now have a noodle arm Alex Smith clone throwing to them where Maclin and Hill will a Brett Favre clone throwing to them...well after this season. [Reply]
