He's a high upside reclamation project, you bet. That's the first reasonable thing you've said on the subject.
and he'll cost about half of what we were paying MVS.
If they feel like he's at full health, that's a bet you take. [Reply]

Absolutely.
Because while this staff seems to be fucking Rainman when it comes to signing/drafting defensive backs, they are fucking Simple Jack when it comes to the WR position.

After last year I find it crazy that a guy that runs a 4.3 40, runs great routes, and fights for the football is someone that can't improve the WR room.
People obsess over production.
If all you do is grab players that were in great situations and used well then how do you ever get a value or a deal?
JuJu was also thought to have been "exposed" when we signed him by some because he wasn't doing what he did earlier in his career in Pittsburgh.
He's not a #1 but he would have been the #1 here last year for much of the year until Rice got going. [Reply]

Our WR room has never been good as a collective. Tyreek and prime Kelce covered it up.
This is unfair. D-Rob was a 6th round pick, Pringle was undrafted, and both meaningfully contributed across multiple seasons yet those are misses? Watkins had health issues but was huge in the playoffs and SB in 2019. Hardly a miss. James was a cheap depth option, not sure what you were expecting. Watson has been a great depth signing who you never mentioned. Toney was a lottery ticket we spent a 3rd on and while he’s not panned out he was key in helping win the 2022 SB.
The legitimate misses have been Moore and MVS. [Reply]

Drob and Pringle are still in the league that's not missing from where they were drafted/undrafted. Sammy when healthy was good. James was hurt most of this year and got a late start on things. Toney and Moore are what they are this year, a disappointment. Fuck, Chris Conley is still in the league. [Reply]

MVS wasn't really a miss either.
He was needed I just thought we overpaid on the contract when we signed him for a vertical decoy. [Reply]
