Almost certainly. They could've DL'd Dozier, called up Cuthbert and kept Owings' warm-body versatility. Maybe Dozier will miss fewer than 10 days, but they clearly didn't want to have to play Owings during even that short stretch.

I agree, but I'm uncertain as to whether they will do the DFA routine with Cuthbert again. That would mean that unless they are planning to DFA Duda, O'Hearn is the one guy that can be sent down that would make sense. Of course, I'd rather they just DFA Duda and Gore both...keep Cuthbert up and recall Boni or maybe Phillips (a better option than Gore IMO as a 4th OF). [Reply]
