You really don't understand how much better the basketball is these days than 20-30 years ago, do you? Even just ignoring the differences in the athletes themselves, offenses are far more efficient than they were in those days. Teams are getting smarter and smarter. Now Shaq would still obviously get his numbers in any era, but 3s>2s. The Warriors win against any of those teams running away. [Reply]

That's an unfair comparison. If Warriors played back then they wouldn't be shooting as much threes due to handchecking and the different style of play and if the Lakers played in today's era they'd be playing a different style as well. You can't compare different era teams in that sense you can only compare how much they dominated in their era. The Lakers were built to win in their era and the Warriors are built to win in theirs.
Using your logic 20-years from now Warriors will be considered a trash basketball team as will all of your hero LeBron's teams. [Reply]

Love and Irving (Irving needs to keep his production up a few more years) are assuredly hall of famers based off their numbers and the fact they have a ring.
