We'll see if the Warriors recover from the end of the season stretch of stinkers.

When the Warriors are on they can blow anybody out. That doesn’t take away from what the Rockets have done in the other 3 games.
Do people think about Byung-Hyun Kim blowing 2 games during the 2001 World Series in New York or do people think about Mariano Rivera giving up a walk off hit to Luis Gonzalez with Craig Counsell scoring to win the series?

Answer:Rivera giving up a walk off hit for the D'Backs to win the World Series.

No one gives a shit about what happens aside from the ultimate result of the series. No one will remember Indiana took LeBron to a Game 7, only that he won. No one will remember that Houston/Golden State went to a Game 7, like OKC/Golden State did, except for whoever wins.

They are not the God like team KCC likes to make them out to be. They are very good but I don't see them as top team all-time. Too many jump shooters.
Forget the Bulls the Kobe/Shaq Lakers teams would have been way more than GS could handle. Shaq probably puts up a few 50/20s.

When discussing all time great teams how many losses a team has on the way to a championship is often used to make an arguement.

I don’t disagree with any of this. We were talking about the Rockets playing much better than the 2017 Cavs against this Warriors team.

You really don't understand how much better the basketball is these days than 20-30 years ago, do you? Even just ignoring the differences in the athletes themselves, offenses are far more efficient than they were in those days. Teams are getting smarter and smarter. Now Shaq would still obviously get his numbers in any era, but 3s>2s. The Warriors win against any of those teams running away.

I think you mean 2017 Cavs.

That's an unfair comparison. If Warriors played back then they wouldn't be shooting as much threes due to handchecking and the different style of play and if the Lakers played in today's era they'd be playing a different style as well. You can't compare different era teams in that sense you can only compare how much they dominated in their era. The Lakers were built to win in their era and the Warriors are built to win in theirs.

Using your logic 20-years from now Warriors will be considered a trash basketball team as will all of your hero LeBron's teams.

But you're calling love and Irving hall of famers already?

Just mocking KCC calling Thompson and Green HOFers. Of the 4 Irving has the best shot IMO. If he could stay healthy it would be a given since he came into the league at 19 and racks up good PG numbers.

NBA HOF is pretty loose with their hall of famers. Love and Irving (Irving needs to keep his production up a few more years) are assuredly hall of famers based off their numbers and the fact they have a ring. If Irving knees hold up for about 4-5 more seasons, he's a lock.
