Take it for what it's worth but the guy that had the Watkins signing last year and our interest in Frank Clark this year said both Hill AND Jones deals are close. [Reply]

Having said that, we have watched this team cut third round picks in training camp. If they're moving him to the offense, then he clearly has attributes they are desperate to take advantage of. I highly doubt it will work, or that he'll make the team, but if anyone can do it, it's Reid.
Reid + Speed = dirty deeds.
I don’t see them wasting time teaching him this unless there is a good chance it sticks. [Reply]

Someone else brought this up but I wonder if they wanna do both at the same time to try and get the PR down for hill? [Reply]

If Hitchens plays solid they'll keep him because that cap hit is still shitty. Watkins is either a cut or new contract candidate though either way that number is less. [Reply]

How much is the floor expected to rise?
We're going to need it if we're paying 3 players combined nearly 100 million dollars.
Assuming we sign him before the new deal, the timing with Mahomes is nearly perfect. [Reply]

It's a horribly structured deal. They obviously thought he was going to be a key part of this defense for a long time.
Can't really get out of it without eating money until 2022. [Reply]

Depends what the new deal is, if the players agree to 18 games and the owners agree to raise the players number from 47% to say 49% it would raise huge, like 50 million dollars huge. [Reply]
