uh, what?
This article is on ESPN.com, right now, and it's professional Vegas handicappers telling you what they'd set a hypothetical series of the 96 Bulls and the 17 Warriors at ... Bulls +300, Warriors -360
and last year the Warriors SHOULD HAVE WON the title - the Cavs got insanely lucky LeBron goaded Draymond into 86'ing himself from a game
If the Warriors were smart, at all, they'd tank game 3 on purpose. No joke. Losing a game and winning 4-1 would be WORLD'S BETTER for their legacy than a sweep. A sweep will go down as a giant asterisk. I'd elaborate, but you guys are so fucking dumb that it's not even worth my 109 WPM explanation [Reply]

...and then the Warriors added Kevin Durant
Real ****ing cool, NBA.
That's cool. Like I said Vegas had Warriors a higher underdog after game 1 and whiffed. Vegas means jack shit. [Reply]
...my point had nothing to do with what Vegas handicapping means, you idiot
Vegas favored the Bulls to win 6 out of 6 of their NBA titles
The Cavs came into this one as -300+ dogs from what I remember seeing
...yet, if LeBron doesn't win, he's a choker
You all should be pissed. This GSW team is so good ... they aren't even giving you a chance to see a 'LeChoke' ... the games are never close enough [Reply]
Cavs huge dogs to Spurs. 'LeSweep'
Heat were huge favorites over Mavs. That was a 'LeChoke.'
Heat were favorites over Thunder. Won.
Heat were slight favorites over Spurs. Won (almost a 'LeChoke').
Heat were even/on with Spurs. Lost ('LeChoke', I guess)
Heat were big dogs to Warriors. Lost ('LeChoke', I guess)
Heat were big dogs to Warriors. Won ('LeClutch', I guess)
Heat were REALLY big dogs to Warriors. Down 0-2
Jordan was ALWAYS the favorite - and Jordan was great, and always made sure his team won. That's great - but they were always SUPPOSED to win.
I could explain it more slowly, but it doesn't appear like you guys are big sports fans. [Reply]
once again - LeBron didn't originate the 'super team' concept - if anyone originated it in the LeBron era, it was the Celtics with KG, Pierce and Allen.
LeBron plays the first 12 - team is close. Rests, team gets down by double digits. Comes back in - team closes to within 4. 3rd quarter ... plays the entire time ... GS is like a god damn avalanche, get up by 14+ in both games - effectively ending the game. Then, you have 3 minutes in the 4th to get the game to within 10 or so or the game is basically over - both games, the Warriors were like a god damn avalanche and it was done.
He didn't have strong 2nd halves because the games didn't play out that way - both games, by 9 minutes in the 4th, the games were over.
Watch a fucking NBA game other than the Finals for the past 20 years and you'd understand how blowouts work on a player's stat line [Reply]
why do you think LeBron didn't score in the 4th quarter of those games?
Any guesses?
It wasn't because, you know, ...the games were over? They conceded both games with like 10 minutes left in the 4th quarters.
There is nothing LeBron can do to beat this team. Nothing.
It's an unstoppable juggernaut that is going to ruin the NBA.
Bingo. Anybody who watched both games and is being honest with themselves knows why LeBron didn't bother to exert himself in the 4th in each one. The Warriors essentially finished them off in the 3rd in each one. [Reply]
