Not being on the injured list at all Wednesday and then showing up all of the sudden usually isn't a great sign.
That's why I assumed Hollister might be out as well. Ryan will play and almost all indications are that Brown will as well. Long is another iffy one as he was upgraded before being immediately downgraded. [Reply]

Yea I think it’s safe to say those are the only guys that might not play. [Reply]

You'll probably need more than 80 yards passing in the game from Tannehill (i.e. about his passing yards per game average in the playoffs) in that situation.
No doubt about that. We will need a more balanced attack like we had before we got to the playoffs unless we get a bunch of turnovers. But what he said is true. Henry is such a threat that we can move the ball like a passing team. We went something like 75yards in 5 plays everyone going to Henry. We can score quickly even with the running game.
It was why I posted b4 that the titans are not a traditional running team. As ground and pound teams go we have a terrible time of possession. We score fast. The biggest strength of our team might be the conditioning of our defense. They will hild a 8min drive to a fg then have a 2min rest after we score and have to do the same again. [Reply]

It all comes down to pressure -- you're going to have to pressure him to have a chance.
I can accept all of that. I think of top of the line Mahomes plays we are gona have a tough time. Even of he throws for 400+ I think we have a chance. But pressure to cause a bad throw or 2 will be needed to win. [Reply]
He and Adrian Peterson are the only backs in recent memory I can recall who can break off a 60+ yard run while also beating the shit out of you.
Guys that big just aren't usually that fast. So yeah, if he's breaking off long scoring runs or even long-runs to move them inside the 30 or so (where they'll no-doubt switch to 4-down mode), that will be a serious problem.
Gotta keep him from getting up to speed and cranking off chunk plays. We can let him be Barry Word - we can't let him be Christian Okoye. [Reply]

It is a matter of perspective. We give up tons of yards in the pass and run game. We do hold teams to relatively low scoring games though. We are the definition of bend but dont break. We have given up point in a few games such as our previous matchup. [Reply]
You realize that's not a real thing, right? It's called having a shitty defense that can't cover, but find more success when the field shortens because, duh, it's ****ing easier.
Every shitty defense is magically better in the red zone. And of course they're all "Bend but don't break".
He is wrong about between the 20s but technically right. Our red zone defense outside the playoffs have been bad unless it is goalline. We do our best work between the 30 and 45. We hold teams to field goals quite offten in this area. The redzone defense has been great in the post season as well though around 26% I think. [Reply]

This is also part of the problem for TEN. The Titans defense doesn't generate a lot of pressure with their down four DL. In fact, they rank near the bottom of the league in QB knockdowns (31st), QB knockdown % (32nd), Pressures( 17th), pressure % (24rd), etc.
For TEN to generate pressure and a pass rush they have to send extra defenders. While covering Kelce (needs to be doubled even with a tweaked hammy), and Hill. So single up Watkins? LB on Damien? Hardman? That's 7 defenders to cover our five receivers. On just about every single snap. Can the TEN DL generate a consistent rush? If they can't, Pat will dice your defense up quickly. And on Sunday, Pat will be able to run as well.

The Chiefs were blowing out the Patriots and Ravens when we played them healthy. Our team is finally healthy again.
There’s a reason we are confident.
Thank you and I feel the same way as a titans fan. I just think some of your fans are underestimating the Titans. We may get blown out but I doubt it. I think the game will be close even if not for the same reasons as the last game. [Reply]

God damn you like moving the goalposts. Believe me, we’ve been there as a team too. You have the equivalent of Alex Smith and Jamaal Charles. Been there, done that. Spoiler alert.... you lose to the elite quarterback. [Reply]
Shout out to the @Chiefs digital media and content teams who have spit all season. They’re behind the scenes putting in LONG hours to get #ChiefsKingdom fired up with wholesome content like this. pic.twitter.com/UZg2wZQCgS
