We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

But i'm not into paying him what he's gonna get on the open market to play that.
The safety market isn't what it use to be. In fact we signed Berry at the absolute worst time possible (when the S market was at its highest.)
Dorsey was excellent at finding low round talent and signing cheap FA talent but he was horrible at signing/retaining our own talent. Every big contract Dorsey negotiated (Berry, Houston, etc) was horrible... [Reply]

I think Berry is a great person and was an excellent player for us but it might be time to part ways. I have no idea what his health situation is and wonder if anyone (outside of the team) really does.
Berry looked terrible vs. the Pats and was clearly not healthy. How his situation improves without surgery I don't understand... [Reply]
Let’s also not forget that 1) safety has been the single most devalued position over the course of the past few years & 2) the only position that has any sort of depth in free agency is (surprise) safety.

You can sign a pro bowl S for what a guy like Nelson will get in FA this year (4-7 million per.) Why not add two pro bowl safeties and draft the more expensive positions like CB and LB? [Reply]
