I have no real opinion on the subject, but I'm not sure why we should believe you over four advanced statistical systems that all suggest Baylor is the 2nd best team in the country. [Reply]
Anyone still wondering if NBA teams will let Marcus Garrett ever take a shot for them, he farted out a nice 1-5fg 1-6ft line yesterday. He pulls that shit again in the Tourney and we are bounced. [Reply]

Yeah that was a rough out.
Those freethrows at the end were particularly inexcusable. Holy balls. I could have knocked down at least one of those. [Reply]

Garrett is fighting Fairly serious foot issues FYI. Not the Best of takes. [Reply]

I expect some joke game that resembled football more than basketball (at KSU's design) in which he was playing injured himself isn't going to be determinative on whether Garrett ever plays in the NBA. [Reply]

I can understand wanting Garrett on the court for defense even though an injury is limiting his game. But if his foot is healthy enough to run around playing defense, then it shouldn't be an excuse for missing free throws. [Reply]

I mean he's a 61% FT shooter. He'll miss them healthy or hurt right now, it doesn't matter.
Whether he can eventually play in the NBA will come down to whether he can improve those numbers. [Reply]
Self said at the Special Olympics Clinic that Udoka Azubuike is questionable for Wednesday's game against TCU. It's a sprained right ankle, nothing broken. He's wearing a boot.
Wouldn't bother playing him until the NCAA tournament if necessary. They'll beat TCU without him to lock up the B12 and KU is already a #1 seed no matter what happens in KC. [Reply]

Yeah that’s probably what I would do too. Maybe give him limited minutes in the Big 12 tourney just to keep sharp.
Luckily, with his style of play he shouldn’t need too much PT to stay sharp. [Reply]

Timing and footwork can be fleeting. He relies a lot on that. [Reply]
