For the #Saints and WR Michael Thomas, his 5-year, $100M extension includes $61M in guarantees, sources say. And one of training camp’s holdouts is over.

Interesting theory I heard for the first time yesterday on Petro's show - the Sammy Watkins signing was made by the Chiefs because Crystal and Tyreek had just gotten back together, and the front office knew their history so wanted protection in case shit went...almost like it did. [Reply]

Anyone else think the Brian Banks story/movie might just fit this case against Tyreek? Wonder if the NFL is thinking the same thing?

Confession of false accusation
In March 2011, Gibson contacted Banks on Facebook, met with him, and admitted in the presence of a private investigator Banks had hired that she had fabricated the story. Banks secretly recorded Gibson's confession, but she later refused to tell prosecutors that she had lied so she would not have to return the money she and her family had won in court.[19]

In reality stuff like that is even worse now, with the height of metoo and accusations are enough today's environment for something being falsely accused and convicted is terrible.
Here's a guy that was dismissed from his team..
A jury found former Wisconsin Badgers receiver Quintez Cephus not guilty of two sexual assault charges Friday after deliberations lasting less than 45 minutes. https://t.co/lUGp2L87k7

There really needs to be punishment for false allegations, these crusaders who think accusing anyone is ok are annoying as fuck. [Reply]

In many ways that guys life is ruined, that case lasted a year for him to be acquitted in 45 minutes. Wisconsin takes his scholarship away, it's really not ok.
This environment we live in is really sad. When did we go from innocent until proven guilty to hey you are accused so you obviously did it. [Reply]
