Nothing much to look at, but perfect sports-watching snack food.
I was disappointed in Cascone's pizza sauce. I live near their restaurant and have eaten there for years. I even dated one of Mr. Cascone's daughters though short-lived. It had not much flavor was nothing like the Marinara sauce or the lunch pizza they serve. I tried Rau's pizza sauce and really liked it.
I whittled down my freezer and had room so I bought those frozen already formed pizza crusts you just thaw for about 15 minutes then prepare. I cook them in the rec tec was impressed. I do wish they would sell it in like five packs because the box is too many.
Ok, first off have you looked at the number of replies in this thread and then the number of views? :-) I once had a post that had 12 replies! What is your secret? What if you got paid per view?
Ok, tomorrow i am deep frying wings in olive oil. I only use olive oil. It’s expensive but then I remember how much I spend on beer. Supposedly if you ingest enough olive oil you will live forever. That would suck. Your wife would die and you would have to try to score at the age of 200 or 500 or something. But I use it anyway. But it does scare me, I do NOT wanna live forever!:-) [Reply]
I put some scalloped potatoes on the smoker yesterday to go with a pork butt I smoked the night before.
It was delish but the real show was repurposing the scalloped potatoes into a hash with some skillet ham, fried onions, and a running egg this morning.

We let it sit for about 30 minutes so it would solidify, and it was amazingly good. Next time we won't pack the burger meat as much, but the rest was awesome. Quick, easy, and great for a cold night.
We will add this to our tailgating options. [Reply]
