Justin Watson was on a PS when we got him. MVS wasn’t ever a top 2 WR in his career. Neither was Richie.
Guys like Tyler Boyd, Curtis Samuel and Hollywood Brown are way better role players and if we can get them for a cheaper price then I’d say go for it.
Mooney is like what we had last year. He would probably be a cheap secondary option in the $3 million price range IMO. But that’s fine for the price due to scheme fit.
No, Mooney is not like what we had last year. [Reply]
This ain't the Christian Kirk WR market that's for sure. I'm not even sure some of the guys mentioned are going to get paid what's been projected. [Reply]
I wouldn’t mind Brown. He has actually maintained some levels of production his whole career, even though it’s not exactly high end production year to year. He gets a lot of targets so I’m going to guess his lower catch% can be attributed to the QBs throwing him the ball. They can see him getting open but they just can’t hit him consistently. Mahomes would.
The last two seasons he had over 100 targets each season with an average of 104. Averaging 59 catches, 642 yards, 10.9 y/r, for a 57% catch rate. Hardman averaged 68% here. You get those targets to Brown at 68%, he’s got 71 receptions for almost 800 yards.
So if you think you can get a pretty sure 71 for 800 yards, with upside that could push it to 1000 yards, what do you feel comfortable paying for that? [Reply]

Boyd deserves more credit than to be lumped in with Samuel and Brown.
Pretty sure dude has between 700 and 1000 yards in each of his last 6 seasons.
He's been consistent AF and out producing these other chucklefucks AND as a 3rd option in the offense. [Reply]

I really hope that was rock bottom.
Yeah, that wasn't fun. At. All. Watching our tards flop around all season making DRob/Pringle look like quality WRs just sucked all kinds of rotten donkey balls.
I mean, DRob played in just 6-7 games and still outperformed every WR on our roster in just about every major statistical column, except Rice. That's fuglier than fugly by a lot. [Reply]

Sure, at least MVS wasn't a brokedick and actually performed in the playoffs. The only playoff game Mooney has been in he was sitting in the tub. Because he's a brokedick bum ass scrubmuffin. [Reply]

Dude, It's ok to admit there seems to be some concerns with him being traded by two team with control left. It also is ok to say you think it's worth the risk with our Coach, QB and leadership. I would be hesitant to get him, but I would trust Reid and Veach to make a good decision. [Reply]
