After watching Thompson all year, I don't think he is a top tier, Power 5 conference player.
Self is obviously a better judge of talent than I am, but I feel like we must have recruited him based on size and potential, thinking that we could coach him up and turn him into a good player by his junior or senior year.
His jump shot is ugly, and he wasn't a good defender either. Any time he made a shot, I was genuinely surprised.
I don't think there is any chance in hell that he ever plays in the league. I think he would be extremely lucky to even play in the G League.

Agreed. He won't be turning into the next Grimes either. [Reply]

Self should not be waiting on them to make a decision if a top prospect is interested. I imagine he’d recruit over both in a heartbeat.
I thought the way this worked was the top prospects won’t commit until the starters make their decision to NBA or not. They have options and don’t want to enter the team causing conflict? Or fight for a spot or whatever reason an 18 year old needs. Is that right? [Reply]

So probably 10-11 ppg and 6-7 for the brother unless the volume is just crazy which it could be because that roster has nothing on it [Reply]

We have to play those two pieces of shit twice a year and Enaruna twice a year? Fuck our lives. [Reply]
