He's screaming for attention. After years of Alex hating now that Alex looks like a franchise qb now he's lashing at "Alex only fans." Which don't exist.

Tiggeruppercut is pretty close Alex could go out and toss 5 ints in one game and Tiger would still find a way to make excuses for his ass. [Reply]

If you saw him at the college level at all, the guy isn't a chucker. Players like RG3 who are one-read, throw the ball up for grabs or look to run at every opportunity, don't really play the QB position the way you have to in the NFL. Everyone agrees about that. He isn't one of them. The knock on him was the interceptions, but coming from his needing to get better at reading the field, not generally from accuracy.
And he is still transitioning to a pro style offense, but having to do it under live fire. All told he did well protecting the ball tonight in a game where his team was otherwise dominated. This is not a bad spot for a guy making his fourth ? appearance. A LOT of rookie QBs would have thrown 3 picks tonight and seen their team get housed by 30 points.
We saw him tonight doing some things similar to what Alex Smith does with his feet - but mostly using his feet to extend plays and go through his progressions, not looking to tuck it under and run at the first sign of trouble. His arm and accuracy were pretty good.
He may or may not work out in the NFL, the odds are against all QBs, even Mahomes. But I think Watson's being targeted unfairly by CP hate culture because of a Deberg thread and because we drafted someone else, so all other draftees must be terrible. [Reply]
