Andy not adjusting his play calling, even when everyone knew that the Chiefs couldn't block Houston, is a criticism he should definitely receive. Its every year that Andy has these lulls in the middle of the season it seems (minus last season). I honestly think we will be fine, overall. But we need help on the defensive side. Even fully healthy, we need help. [Reply]

I'm not saying he doesn't deserve criticism, but some of the stuff in this thread is basically claiming he doesn't have any clue what he is doing which is laughable. We had a top 10 offense almost every season with Alex Smith at QB for FFS.
He has his warts but he is arguably the smartest offensive mind in the NFL. He just gets hung up at times. [Reply]

Take Mahomes off this team and put in almost any other QB and this is a below average offense. Think of the Alex Smith years.
EDIT:
MIsread what you said, but really, most years with Smith as our QB weren't really that great of an offense. [Reply]

What are you smoking?
2017 was the first year of the Chiefs franchise.. With our first ever pick we traded up to draft Mahomes. It's looking like the most successful first pick in NFL history [Reply]

Yep, from the purgatory of mediocrity to at least an effort to become an elite franchise. [Reply]
