The Chiefs have released Berry with a post-June 1 designation, a source tells me. Means the Chiefs will save around $9.5m on the cap this year and $5.5m next year.

What am I supposed to do here, guys? How is it possible that CP's undisputed King of Pessimism could be 100% satisfied with every...single...move this organization has made since the 2018 season ended?!?!?
How does this happen?
I need a tissue...
Amen brother. I couldn't have scripted a better start to the new league year [Reply]
The purge is complete. EB was a favorite but the last 2 years soured it for me. CJ and TM are your new leaders and I, for one, can't wait to see what they can do. [Reply]

Here's to the infusion of youth and attitude they spoke of last year. What an exciting time. [Reply]

Which is why I am SO GLAD that we did as well as we did but ultimately came up short. If we had gone to the SB, win or lose, I don't believe you see these changes taking place. We would have had to wait for Sutton to retire, we would have missed out on some GREAT coaches, and we would have wasted much more than Mahome's rookie contract.
I'm telling you; that loss was for a reason. A GOOD reason. And several other reasons beyond that.

YUGE. I've never been this happy with the Chiefs. EVER. I'm as all-in as it gets, and you CAN NOT say a bad word about this team to me right now. [Reply]
He should be sending the Chiefs Organization a nice big thank you for all the money he still will be making, with NO stress and pounding on his body! [Reply]
+1 for the armchair GMs that took their lumps with the Berry, Ford and Houston situations. That’s a lot of change in KC. Excited about what we field this year. [Reply]
