We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

We don't even know if Reid is overpaid or not as it comes down to guarantees. But anyhow, the S options for FA and the draft is much less in 2019 vs last year. [Reply]
Probably could do both LB and DE. He’s 260 lbs with a strong upper body and has lined up at LB, DE and DT. He just seems like a nice, cheap chess piece.
Some underrated players we could sign or trade for IMO:
-Honey Badger S HOU-played under Merritt in Arizona. Not underrated but he was a cheap signing last Spring.
-John Simon DE NE-played under Daly in NE last year. Could be a great chess piece.
-Eric Rowe CB NE-really athletic outside corner. Played under Daly.
-Jonathan Jones CB NE-this guy was so good in the playoffs. Helped take Tyreek and Cooks out of the game. Would be great to have on speedy receivers. Need that versatility IMO.
-Corey White CB BUF-drafted by Spags in New Orleans. 6 career INT’s and 22 passes defended as a rotational player in his career. Would be really nice to have him as depth.
-BJ Goodson LB NYG-this would be a trade. Spags drafted him and he had a nice 2018 season. Might be tough to get him away from them though. [Reply]

John Simon and Jonathan Jones are coachable guys, heady players. Those are the kinds of guys we need. [Reply]
The numbers are in: The #Panthers signed S Eric Reid to a 3-year extension worth $21,695,625, source said. He got a $7.5M signing bonus and $10M total guarantees. In addition, he can make $1.95M max in incentives for a deal worth up to nearly $23.65M.

It's a good deal but in comparison to what he got last year (literally nothing. it's a huge deal)
I'm not sure what positions are going to go cheap this year if this is the kind of deals being handed out to a market (safeties) that was very weak and stagnant last offseason.
Like you are definitely not getting Honey Badger or anyone cheaper. [Reply]
Kick the tires on Demaryius Thomas as Watkins insurance? Probably will be able to get him cheap for a 1 year/prove it deal.
He sucked before the injury. Guy probably wont even be ready until mid-way through the season. No thanks. His career is likely over. At best he'll get a 1 yr deal and then be out of the league. [Reply]
