Hell why not just have him roll to the left and run naked bootlegs all night? Want to know why you never see QBs get hurt on QB sneaks??? Because teams who have franchise QBs dealing with REAL chronic high ankle sprains DON'T RUN ****ING QB SNEAKS.
Holy shit. You keeping saying he had CHRONIC HIGH ANKLE SPRAINS, but you obviously don't have any idea wtf you are talking about. Do you even know what chronic means? How do you know he has a high ankle sprain? [Reply]
Hot take here, but play for the wildcard at this point.
Next 2 games will be tough. If Matt Moore steals 1 of those 2, then see if he can steal Tennessee too. This is a good excuse for Mahomes' ankle to heal 100%. I'd rather the Chiefs play the wildcard with 100% Mahomes than have a great seeding with Mahomes at 75%.
Trying to be an optimist. But Mahomes is too tough to sit out. This is a really good excuse to give him the time to get right. Gives guys like Fisher a few extra weeks too. [Reply]

If god forbid Pat is going to out for a while, you take your lumps and the higher draft pick. We obviously aren’t SB threats without him, so use the system to your advantage and you try to move Watkins at the deadline as well. [Reply]
Even if he's cleared to play there's no way you play him vs. Green Bay. They're good enough to make this a 50/50 game given our health. If there's any benefit to this being a Thursday night game, it's that Minnesota gets here after 17 days rest for Mahomes. [Reply]
3-6 weeks to recover. It’s the knee injury that causes the least amount of structural damage so once MVP recovers, he should be good. No surgery usually needed.
Of course, if it is something else, that changes the treatment [Reply]
Matt Stafford had the same injury and missed 3 weeks. Of course it depends what the MRI says but if we win this and hes only out 3 weeks well be ok [Reply]

Source confirms #Chiefs QB Patrick Mahomes suffered a dislocated kneecap and there doesn't appear to be a fracture, as @TerezPaylor first reported. Source adds Mahomes is scheduled Friday for an MRI, but early signs are positive.
