Georgie is worse than that for the SEASON and he started out hot. He's probably been somewhere around .840 for the past month. [Reply]

He won several games for them, too, though... he posted a respectable .921 in the regular season and won a 2-1 OT game against the Preds, held the Blues to 2 goals in 3 of their wins and did the same against Tampa.
The Avalanche also helped him quite a bit, they totally locked things down in that Cup clinching game for example, but they weren't having to win absurd games with him in net (the nutty games were with Francouz in net against the Oilers).
You need a guy who can win you a few games and not lose you games... Kuemper accomplished both and I'm just hoping Georgiev doesn't singlehandedly lose them games, much less hoping he'll win one or two for them. [Reply]
