Ironically, Belichick was probably late throwing the challenge flag on the Watkins play. The ball was already snapped when Belichick threw the flag and the linesman should not have honored it. Good job of Mahomes and offense hurrying up to prompt Pats in making a challenge that was not needed. But it should have been ignored as being after the snap.
On the Harry play, Edelman blocked Tyrann Mathieu in the back and Phillip Dorsett held Ward's jersey outside of the shoulder pads.
Chiefs offense would have challenged the Pats defense a lot more the rest of the game if the score was 23-20 and more than likely, would have scored TDs or FGs if they had to. Reid was calling plays to avoid 3rd and long and run clock. If Mahomes had to, Chiefs would have been running plays to gain chunks.
Mahomes overcame penalties on the drive the lead to TD with Hardman. Chiefs could have kept that up, if the game required it. [Reply]
At just under 17 percent, the Chiefs held the Patriots to their lowest third-down conversion rate since Week 14 of the 2017 season last night. Pretty good.

I think the Chiefs dominated the game but if they weren’t such dumbasses they would have won by 30.
Then they’re fucking morons. Fuck em.
Did the Pats get boffed on a couple pivotal calls? Probably.
But anyone who watched that entire game and came to the conclusion that the Pats outplayed the Chiefs is a fucking moron. The Pats were having to resort to gimmicky play-calls and penalties to generate any offense whatsoever. They couldn’t move the ball at all all day long. Whether that was cause their offense sucks or the Chiefs defense was just that good, take your pick. Probably a little bit of both.
Lot of fucking idiots watching football and being paid to talk about it these days. [Reply]

Pats keep talking about how the refs took a win away when all it did was make it possible for a tie at best. And the way the game was going the Chiefs win in overtime anyway. Even if said tie occurred.
This was the worst refereed game I have seen this year but not one sided as a Pats fan would argue. It sucked for both sides. [Reply]

Agree. Officiating was horrible. Not the reason we lost but if correct calls were made, complexion of the game would have been different and favorable to us. Oh well. [Reply]

Well in that scenario the correct calls need to be made for both teams and in that case, no it doesn't fair any better for you guys. [Reply]
