We don't really have one of these yet, so figured we could use this as a place to discuss potential free agent acquisitions and what we would like to look for them to bring in.
If any of you guys are interested, heres a good place to do some research.

If you take Baker, you still need another starter unless you're going to pencil in Ward. If your starters are Fuller, Ward, and Deandre Baker, you're not substantially better in 2019 than you were in 2018 with Nelson. Baker is not THAT good.
#1CB is just a number really. What you need is at least 3 solid corners. Fuller is certainly the part. A 1st round pick could certainly be on of those three corners. And then they absolutely have to sign a veteran CB on the FA market, possibly to a one year deal, or trade for a CB.
Ward is good depth and might even steal a starting spot from one of the above but you cannot go into the season with him as part of your top 3. [Reply]
Landon Collins can be great and difficult to price at the same time. What is the peak value of a safety whose strength is not in coverage in the year 2019? He’s it.

I'm pro just trading our first and 2nd next year for Ramsey and being done with it. [Reply]

Exactly.
My point is, that drafted CB doesn't HAVE to be one of those 3 first round guys. There are guys that will be available in the 2nd that can be part of that rotation. Guys that not only can be part of that rotation day 1 but could emerge to be a real #1 later.
Going into the draft saying "we HAVE to do this" is a good way to fail the draft. [Reply]

Pretty much.
You do that you end up with the 5th best CB while the top TE or top DE or whatever on your board passes by. [Reply]
