And Barnes had proven that he could score. They already had him. Green and Iguodala can score when they have to, especially as 4th or 5th options. The Warriors had plenty of scoring.
The third player for the Bulls was Horace Grant, then Toni Kukoc. The third option for the Shaq-Kobe Lakers was either Fisher, Horry, or Rick Fox.
I don't fault the Warriors for getting Durant. I fault Durant for going there. However, it's not like the Warriors needed him. If Thompson and Looney were totally healthy, this series is probably different even without Durant. [Reply]

If he was comfortable where he's at he probably wouldn't have bought a $13 million house in SoCal. [Reply]

You can insert San Antonio for Toronto here and it reads the same though
I dunno what he will do, doesn’t seem like anyone really does [Reply]

Things went sour in San Antonio. He’d be coming off a championship season when everybody in Toronto is treating him like a God. Huge difference. [Reply]

I’m talking about KD buying a house in NY and truly being a done deal.
I’m aware of it being a rumor for months.
The thing is those things have been way off lately. Paul George was going to LA. Kawhi was only going to LA. He’s not staying in Toronto. AD will only go to LA. Now AD would be willing to re-sign with NY. It’s hard to believe any rumor unless it comes from Woj or Shams. [Reply]

Yeah but he is not KD. I saw you mentioned Horford in regards to someone that GS could have used, but do you realize that Horford's contract is over $26 million\year? KD's first 2 years in GS he was being paid $25 million\year.
Hell Barnes got $23 million\year from the Mavs after he left GS.
I don't know, I think Toronto is a very good all around team and GS doesn't have that third scoring option to help take pressure off Steph\Klay. Plus their bench sucks, has to be the worst in the NBA. [Reply]
Kawhi isn’t socially awkward for fucks sake. He just doesn’t like to talk. Does seem like a fun guy to chill with when not focused on basketball [Reply]

Umm have you heard the guy laugh?
Or ever seen him doing anything at all?
Also, most socially awkward don’t like to talk. That kind of comes with the territory. [Reply]
Kawhi was just incredible tonight. The Raptors' defense brought it as usual, but they needed everything he gave them offensively and more. He continues to prove that he's the best player in the league not named LeBron.
Game 5 for the title. Don't let them off the mat. [Reply]

Apparently he just bought a really expensive home in the Toronto area too. I don't think anybody really knows what he really wants, but it would hardly surprise me if he stuck around at this point (possibly on a short term deal so he can get to LA in a few years still). [Reply]
