Have been banned from the other thread by an apparently sensitive snowflake (ironically after dozens of pages of political discussion from others) so I'll stick my thoughts on the NBA Playoffs here from now on. We needed a new thread anyway. [Reply]

Fair. At least Embiid is showing up and posting 35+ in these games even if he is choking in the latter stages although you could say the same for Mitchell until last night.
These teams have to find a way back in these series. [Reply]

Getting dunked on by Mann last night for an And-1 in crunch time was not a good look. Neither was getting attacked off the dribble the entire 2nd half. [Reply]

Neither does being 7'2 and absolutely refusing to post-up players who are 6'8 or 6'7. They're literally guarding him with small forwards. You don't need to be Shaq or Hakeem to score in today's league in the low post. He's just scared to even try. When I played in school, I was much better and more confident defensively than offensively. Then again, I wasn't guarded by guys 6 inches shorter than me. He needs to learn some offensive skills. Improve his hands. [Reply]

It hasn't hurt them early in games when they dominate. It's part doc rivers being a choke artist. Part bench playing insanely bad. And then starters choking late, which has a lot to do with coaching. They could have and should have easily won in spite of his awful free throws. [Reply]

Sure he has because Embiid has to carry the full load and then has run out of gas in the 4th. As I posted above Simmons has 5 fg attempts in 6 quarters lulz. That is a waste of space and embarrassing for a max player. [Reply]

I think Rick Carlisle was asked to resign. Mavs haven’t won a series since winning the championship in 2011. As a Mavs fan I’m glad we’ll have a new GM and coach. They simply haven’t been able to get FA in and rumor has it that players don’t like playing for Carlisle. [Reply]
