Can't get it up here north of the border but, through a wine distributer I am able to order a case. Would like to hear from someone who knows their stuff and has tried it before I order.
Bought a few this evening on the way home:
Four Roses Single Barrel
High West Rendezvous Rye
Bruichladdich Port Charlotte Heavily Peated Islay
The Scotch is the only one of the three I haven’t had and wasn’t in the mood for peated smoke tonight so dipped into the High West. Always like these guys. [Reply]
Just picked up a bottle of Old Forester 1920 - delicious. A Nashville buddy brought me a bottle of Old Hickory, also tasty. Got a bottle of Noah’s Mill...didn’t really wow me. Can’t get my hand on any Blanton’s, but sampled some at Harry’s, and must say it’s very nice. Aside from Blanton’s, I’m looking into a bottle of Little Book and Peerless Rye. Peerless is nice, but I haven’t had the Little Book. I’m skeptical about Little Book because it’s effectively Jim Beam, and I’m not really into Jim.
Thoughts?
Incidentally - went to Campground in West Bottoms today...I recommend more than the new Rieger spot in East Bottoms. [Reply]

I think Old Ezra will win. Only my SO will know for sure.
She loves the ER too.
I grew up on Ezra Brooks. Some of the nastiest rot gut shit available. It made me what I am today. [Reply]

Gomer’s South for Noah’s, but if you’re looking for Rowan’s - Happy Hour in Independence has carried some. [Reply]
Really enjoy the stuff from high west. Double Rye is great for the price but like the Bourye (particularly limited sighting if you find it) and Rendezvous more. Best I’ve had of theirs is Midwintersnight Dram but impossible to find for sale. [Reply]
