Thanks to my vape, I've had only one single cigarette in the past 3 weeks. I have zero cravings for them and I feel considerably better. In fact, I still have about 5 smokes left in a pack and just can't see myself smoking those... don't want to.
Even better... 5ml of juice, which costs $5, lasts me about 2 weeks meaning that I am spending less in the long run. I only smoked, at most, a pack a week... but still.
I tried the Blu E-Cigs but they were terrible. Trying to "smoke" out of one of those was like trying to take a hit off a joint that was rolled WAY to tight.
I'm using an eGo-V v2 mega battery with variable voltage control with a gravity tank.

Yeah, my external charger is spring loaded with 4 slots that will fit just about any rechargeable battery. The 2 outside slots will do a rapid charge, and the the inner 2 slots will do a slow cycle charge.
I've never charged a battery while in the device. I've not even plugged into the micro USB. I suppose I will if they update the firmware, but I figure why introduce another variable and play it safe and stick with the external charger. [Reply]

I'm truly not trying to sound facetious, but if it costs less to buy and replace then so be it. That battery life sure is impressive though. Thanks for the info. If you see anything else, please share.
Panasonic has an exclusive deal to supply Tesla with billions of them, but I don't know how easy it is to procure buying them.
The guy who ran the tests on the Tesla batteries was only able to get them by tracking down a Tesla that had been salvaged after getting t-boned less than a week after taking delivery.
Tesla's new gigafactory will be producing the 20700 batteries, which will achieve greater efficiency and range. They're going to be used in Tesla's new model they introduce next year, and the current models already on the market won't switch over to them until they intro a model redesign / refresh.
I'd imagine if they were available for sale they'd probably be about double the price, but given their performance it'd be worth it. [Reply]

Same here. I'm paranoid about charging a battery in a mod. I don't trust the quality control in mods, and I have visions of the thing turning into a firebomb if shit goes sideways. I guess the 20700 trend is farther along than I thought though after taking a look around.
Oh, before I forget, I have been using the 1.0 Ohm atomizer in my Kangertech EVOD Pro. The flavor is not as good in any of their atomizers as I am used to but that is the only negative thing I have to say about this set up (The Nautilus X with a 1.8 Ohm atomizer really is great for flavor). Anyway: The Kangertech EVOD Pro with a 1.0 Ohm atomizer is a great choice for a mod to carry around. It gives a satisfying vape through the duration of the 18650 charge all the way from full down to 'depleted'. Mine stopped firing at 3.1 Volts according to my charger. With that 4 ml capacity it will last you all day no problem. Even on a day off. It won't leak on you. The thing is a steal at $18.95 from My Vapor Store. You just have to get the 1.0 Ohm atomizers somewhere else because they only seem to ever carry 1.5 and 0.5 for it there.
That Nautilus X at 12 Watts on 1.8 Ohms is pretty freaking sweet by the way. I am tempted to get a pipe mod like the Joytech Elitar ePipe to use with it just for shits and giggles, but I probably won't at $50 a pop. [Reply]

These things are way cheaper and more convenient than my old rig. The vapor production is pretty strong for an all in obe as well.
Atomizers burn up fast though.

Cool. I found that using juice with a good amount of nic, a good VP/PG mix, a cigarette flavor, and at a low-ish Wattage helped me out a lot. [Reply]
So I am checking out this online supplier called 'The Dollar Juice Club" that I saw referenced on a YouTube video. You can buy 5 ml bottles of their juice for one dollar to try them out. They have a rewards program and I was able to get a $5 discount on my first order. So I ended up paying $4.32 in shipping for 5 bottles of 5 ml each. They only do 70VG/30PG and they only go up to 6 mgs nic so it's set up for more of a dripper or a high wattage Vape. BUT...I have high nic 100% PG tobacco flavored fluid on hand. And they sell 200 ml bottles for $25.99 which is a great price if the stuff has food flavor. I'll find out by the beginning of next week.

If I had to go out and buy a set up right now to replace smoking I'd do this:
That's what I gave my sister as a gift along with a Cubis tank. She doesn't smoke much, but I told her I would get her all setup and got her enough juice to last her half a year, if she agreed to cut the cigarettes out completely. [Reply]

Yeah, many of those are from people who got the earlier iterations. I just about never buy hardware when it first comes out because they rush it. Should be OK now. Still, sub out a single batt mod of choice if you wish. [Reply]

Sweet. I hope it works for her. My sister that smokes is the rare person that is too irresponsible to vape. She's not exactly bright and she won't pay attention to what she's doing. Blew up an ecig years ago because she plugged it into her laptop to charge after she lost her charger. [Reply]

LOL, no shit. I give away my stuff when I buy new stuff and she gets annoyed that I won't give it to her. It was pretty rough when I got one of her friends into vaping the medicinal MJ bulbs and helped her pick out a mod for it. My sister was beside herself. [Reply]
