The big anti-hijack thread.....
Talk about anything, but if this works than we don't have to keep looking around all the threads to see who is still on tonight, and every night, or even every day! Talk about the chiefs, talk about tomorrow, talk about football, politics or even how to do flooring and the applicable budget. What you're drinking, how hard it is to sleep, etc. Every thing is acceptable in this thread.....

I don't know if I've ever read a sadder history of a country. The history of Iran is extremely repetitive. It'd take me three hands to count the number of times the people of the country have been slaughtered.
Remember; Just because an author writes something it is not necessarily the truth. Hence (politically motivated) Not saying for sure that is the case with the book you're reading. But it likely is. Base your opinions on historical/current facts not books or local news for that matter.

Well... where do I get my historical or current facts, then, if not books or the news?

From you?
Facts. That's where. Yes the news, most notably is motivated, Obviously you can get general topics from the news but when they start to take sides or bash/sensationalize the president grow weary. I'd say try the radio or www.drudgereport.com actually everything reported there is factual/fair and balanced. As far as TV; Fox is pretty balanced. But no. No not from me. I want you to make up your own mind. Just remember whether it is a documentary or a book directors/writers/authors can cut and paste - leave out or put in whatever cuts they want. Thats all Direckshun. Not trying to be pushy, just be more cautious...
