Post here. Pertinent free agent signings can still have their own thread. Anyone who replies with a Q, because something is buried in this thread should blah blah AIDS tree. [Reply]

We should not use either of our first 2 picks on an offensive player unless a guy like Denzel Mims was still available.
We should absolutely spend an early pick on an interior offensive lineman. [Reply]

I look at it this way, we need to invest at a minimum a third round pick in the offensive line in this draft. Now that doesn't mean wait to third, I think it mean you see how the draft falls, see what your board says, and act accordingly.
This board is full of defensive advocates. You know guys who would draft front seven defenders with the top three picks in every draft. We have a huge need at the CB position. I get the desire to upgrade at LB. But let's also not forget that this team at the end of the day is designed to be an offensive team. And being able to run the ball better and control the clock more helps the defense as much as it helps the offense. [Reply]

The problem is this isn’t a very good IOL class, so I don’t want to say we have to take an IOL by the 3rd, but I’d obviously prefer to. [Reply]
I’m thinking that we wait for a corner after the draft. I believe Breeland will still be available as well as other starting caliber corners with experience.
Bashaud Breeland
Logan Ryan
Brandon Carr
Jimmy Smith
Darqueze Dennard
Ross Cockrell
Prince Amukamara
The price tag for these guys after the draft will be reasonable. I want us to draft one corner early and get one of these guys on a 1 year deal; 2 year deal if it’s Breeland. [Reply]

While this isn't a great Line class, I do think there are guys to target in the 2nd and 3rd rounds. I will say this, in 2018 I would have been all over James Daniels in the 2nd round. Would be nice to have a 22 year old talented Center these days. [Reply]

The same guys Hunt flourished with are the same guys we have now. Could the line be better? Sure...but until we get a quality back we'll never really know if your motion is true. I mean Williams In the playoffs didn't look too bad so just imagine a better rb? :-) [Reply]

Hunt wasn't running behind Reiter and Wylie. He had Morse and a healthy LDT. [Reply]
