You're right.
Lifetime contracts are not a big deal. Everyone hands them out... [Reply]

My prediction
TEAM - 3 year Tourney Ban (ineligible for 2022, 2023, and 2024 tourney)
Loss of 3 schollies/year 2022-2024; 2 schollies/yr 2025-2027; and 1 scholly/yr 2028-2030
Coach Self - 1 full season suspension and then 10-year "show cause" penalty (He may be 70 before he is done serving his punishment.) If I am close to being right I do not see a scenario in which Self remains at KU.
Remember, according to the NCAA KU BB committed 5 level infraction (a SINGLE infraction usually gets a school a 1-year post-season ban) so the NCAA may consider a 3-year ban as "generous."
Thank you for saving me the time of having to find the post. Personally, I do not like this move and basically equate it to KU sticking its "middle finger" to the NCAA. If Self is totally exonerated I would have no problems with it but in skimming through the NCAA's rebuttal to KU response to the Notice of Allegation (where the NCAA basically equated Self to an organized crime boss IMO) I don't see that happening. if me starting the thread this year did nothing less than getting bill self a lifetime contract at ku, I'd call that a success. I'd rep myself if I could. [Reply]
