Snyder's Man of Steel, which rebooted the Superman franchise, has grossed north of $600 million worldwide since it hit theaters this June.

According to two sources with knowledge of the movie, Warner Bros. intends to announce the news at its Comic-Con International panel Saturday morning. Said a Warner Bros. spokesperson, “We don’t comment on rumors regarding these properties.”
“Man of Steel” director Zack Snyder is expected to reunite with screenwriter David S. Goyer and star Henry Cavill for the new film. It’s unlikely Christian Bale will step back into the bat suit, as the actor has indicated publicly that he has moved on from his days as Bruce Wayne.
“Man of Steel” producer and “Dark Knight” trilogy director Christopher Nolan is expected by some to produce the project, but the exact nature of his involvement is unclear.
The move marks the culmination of years of effort on the part of Warner Bros. and DC Comics to bring their superheroes together in a similar fashion to their primary competitor Marvel, which successfully combined its superheroes into a $1.5-billion box-office hit with “The Avengers.”
In the comic world, the two heroes are teaming up in a new series, “Batman/Superman,” by writer Greg Pak and artist Jae Lee.

Spoiler!
Just trying to cram so much into one movie was it's biggest flaw. I don't know if I really have any problems with Affleck, or Eisenberg. There's a lot of things I liked about both performances. It's just a lot to fit in.... Batman, the Justice League characters, Luthor, Doomsday, Kryptonite, on top of a plot about Superman's God-like status and the Congressional debate.
Some people probably find that Congressional/God part of the storyline boring, but that was the kind of thing I think Chris Nolan would've hit out of the park and taken this thing to another level. There were some genuinely good ideas in this film. But it felt like they had to race through all of these things to fit them in one movie. Same with a lot of the characters, especially Lex, even Bruce Wayne and Clark and Lois to an extent. We never got to enjoy a lot of things about these characters because it was a race to the Justice League.
That's the same review I would give it.
I'm trying to decide if I liked it or not. I didn't hate it but didn't love it.
I'm torn about a lot of things.
Lex Luthor
Spoiler!
Was great I think he was a diabolical evil man but kept thinking it was the Riddler. Was glad they shaved his head at the end to make Lex bald that was what troubled me the most about the Lex character but they made it right at the end.
Wonder Woman
Spoiler!
:-) I just wanted to pull it out and jerk on it like Pee Wee Herman in an adult film theatre. Holy fuck she is hot. Needed more of her in the story and this movie would have been a hit.
Best line Batman:
Spoiler!
"I've had enough of fighting clowns in clownsuits" Lol ok maybe that's not the exact quote but it was funny to say the least about him vs Joker pun.
Alfred:
Spoiler!
Wasn't impressed I think he made one funny comment but I've seen better Alfred play the part. I think they tried to force humor in the movie.
Batman/Bruce Wayne
Spoiler!
I didn't have a problem with Ben Aflack he was fine as Bruce Wayne and Batman. It seemed copy cat though that he had a Superman Buster suite much like Tony Stark had a Hulk Buster suite in Age of Ultron. If it was real Superman Vs Batman Superman would have flicked his finger and crush Bats skull in.
Clark Kent
Spoiler!
Doesn't play a due fuss bumbling idiot as with Christopher Reed did in Superman so I liked Christopher Reed Clark Kent better.
Superman:
Spoiler!
Man of Steel just as predicted kryptonite is his weakness as it was in the movie but he used kryptonite to beat Doomsday so he was the hero after all.
Doomsday:
Spoiler!
They could have had more Doomsday and I would have been happy. They had the story line way too long just to end the movie with a battle with Doomsday. They could have ended the nonsense between Sups and Bats and have the battle with Doomsday be part of the story. It just seemed rushed after two 1/2 hours of setting up a battle of Batman vs Superman that didn't really mean anything that Batman couldn't beat Superman with out the Kryptonite and everyone knows this. So finally get a real battle between Superman vs Doomsday and that was almost epic but again Wonder Woman should have been more in the story all along. I love Wonder Woman. She was worth the movie admission on her own.
Perry White:
Spoiler!
Laurence Fishburne was great as Perry White
Louise Lane:
Spoiler!
I wanted her to stand up in the bathtub so I could see her titties but she did get super fucked by Superman. She is a good Louise Lane.
I liked it but I feel it could have been so much better.
Spoiler!
I didn't like the dream sequences because they confused me as in hey Supermans dad is dead and there he is in the mountains. Also Batmans dream of Superman's army was dumb because Superman doesn't have an army and I thought that was just unnecessary as they could have had more scenes with Wonder Woman.
The Flash & Aquaman
Spoiler!
So I went to the bathroom real quick and I got back to my seat and I guess the one scene The Flash was in it was over and I missed it :-) they needed more Justice Leaguers in this as part of the story thus Dawn of Justice. They hardly showed Aquaman also geeze. Hey maybe Aquaman could have retrieved the Kryptonite staff under the water and then give it to The Flash and The Flash could have shoved the spear up Doomsday's ass before he knew what hit him. Just a thought.
Even though I enjoyed much of the movie as it happened but thinking about it several things makes me not like it as much.
Spoiler!
What in the world was Lex Luthor thinking about creating Doomsday? I mean what was his plan to control Doomsday if "The Justice League" didn't defeat him? Doomsday was going destroy every living creature on the planet and that would leave Lex with nothing to control and he probably would have been killed himself so I think that was a dumb idea of Lex because WTF was he thinking? Also I would have enjoyed the movie more if it was indeed more about the Justice League coming together to beat Doomsday at the end. This is like Butt Crack of Dawn of Justice League.
I'm trying real hard to like this movie
Spoiler!
Sure it had some great moments and some good one liners and the plot was brewing from beginning then was just in the crock pot stewing for two and half hours before things heated up enough for a 15 minute battle between Superman and Batman and then another 15 minutes to battle Doomsday and then a funeral for Superman/Clark Kent. So Superman was the hero that Batman was too dumb to figure out that he saved the planet from General Zod from destroying it in the first place but because his family was collateral damage he was too angry to forgive Superman.

If I remember right, he is injured badly, his heart beats so long apart they thought he was dead. Eventually heals. [Reply]
It was an okay movie(good comic movie), I would say on par with the good xmen movies, not on par with the great marvel movies. I would give it a 6.5
The movie was about 40mins too long. Lots of stuff at the beginning that was not needed. Saying that, I hear they will be releasing a extended cut that is 3hrs and rated R in the future.
Pros:
Connecting batman reason he feels this way against Supes
Jeremy Irons limited role
Ben, did a good job as batman.
Gal, did a good job as wonder woman.
How they introduced the other superheroes
Cons:
The fuck that was lex luthor, wtf
The battles got too dark and blurry for me to see what was going on, that could of been my theatre though.
How batman relented during his battle.
sidenote:
Looks like superman lost some muscle from his previous movie.
Ben did a good job as frank millers dark night, I enjoyed the dream sequence referencing it looked like the Red Son comic. [Reply]

Spoiler!
Superman gets his power by the sun right? Then why didn't they burry him in space? lol just figured that would bring him back quicker.
Also Superman
Spoiler!
didn't have to die they could have used The Flash as fast as he is shove the kryptonite spear up Doomsday ass before he knew he had a 10 foot glowing green dildo up his ass. Dawn of Justice I wanted to see more action of characters of the Justice League.
Just proving how little reviews actually mean. RT is at 29% with the critics, but 73% with audiences. We'll see what kind of legs it has. Nothing worth a shit comes out for another month. I'm sure Civil War will have a huge opening, too. But it only gets three weeks before Age of Apocalypse, and a couple other notable releases happen in between (Money Monster and Neighbors 2). WB might have played this perfectly, strategically speaking. Maybe Jungle Book opens big? I don't see Hardcore Henry or the Huntsmen sequel doing much. [Reply]
