It is significantly less likely. Plus add the fact that if not vaccinated and you have contact to someone who has tested positive the NFL will automatically put you on the Covid list until you have the specified number of negative tests.
If vaxed and you are exposed you don't get put on the list. [Reply]

Yeah you know the jury is still out on vaccines. The first vaccine was given in 1796. Still need to monitor this situation closely. Serious business. [Reply]

Considering the nature of the sport with all the close contact, the money and high stakes involved, they should make all their players get vaccinated. This isn’t hard. [Reply]
Darnold isn’t making bank yet, but if he were, and I were his coach, I’d have a private conversation with him about risking his availability due to the NFL’s Covid procedures. He’d be making $100 million, which is a huge contract that means other guys that could help the team can’t get paid. That all works out ok if you the expensive QB are on the field.
If you’re out for two weeks because of Covid protocols and close contacts, and you could have prevented that by getting the damn vaccine, you’re kind of a fucking asshole.
The sacrifice you make as a starting QB. Suck it up and get the damn shot. Cry about it as you count your millions while waiting for the side effects to subside in 24-48 measly hours during the offseason [Reply]

those that are vaccinated sure seem to be worried if anyone else are not. [Reply]

From a competitive standpoint, unvaccinated players will impact their vaccinated team mates.
If your starting QB is not vaccinated and tests positive for the virus or has to quarantine due to a close contact exposure it screws the rest of his team. [Reply]

You can still get measles if you have had the measles vaccine. There isn't a vaccine in existence that has a 100% efficacy. I'm sure you knew this already and were just being contrary. [Reply]
