Len Dawson was my Patrick Mahomes when I was little. From Quarterbacking my favorite team to seeing him every nite do the sports on channel 9. Of course I watched Inside the NFL and he always picked the Chiefs.
Patrick will probably turn out to be the bigger legend but you will never forget your first love.

A life both well lived and with incredible class.
Kansas City is a better place due to his stature and representation of the city and franchise.
Very few players who I have admired and idolized as much.
