With Damien Williams (knee) and LeSean McCoy (ankle) banged up, do you guys think this week could be Thompson's opportunity to go off? I think it'd be awesome to see the kid come in and have a big game. [Reply]
I’ve posted that I didn’t believe he was ready in another thread. He finally got his chance and did quite well on 11 carries, good for 4 ypc. I’ll happily eat crow if he follows it up with a strong game against the Pats. I wasn’t able to see the 4th quarter as they switched the broadcast to the Denver game, so I wasn’t able to see the quality of those runs. Thanks for posting the gifs! [Reply]
Fucking finally. It's about god damn time Andy stops being a fucking idiot regarding the RBs. Been calling for Thompson for a long ass time. If he doesn't get 10 carries next week, then I will eat glass. Not really, but I'll probably get on here and bitch about it. [Reply]

We didn't know what we had in Larry Johnson until Priest went down
We didn't know what we had in Jamaal Charles until Larry went down
we didn't know what we had in Kareem Hunt until ware went down
Now it's Darwin thompson that will become the next great Chiefs RB.
Patriots have no film on him. turn him loose. [Reply]

This. Also, he had a chance to make that same block and he did it 100% cleanly. So he learned his lesson. Even though it's bullshit he had to learn a lesson in the first place. [Reply]
Add me on to the Darwin Thompson bandwagon. This kid has an interesting style of running. He has the quickness of an undersized back but finishes really strong. I think this kid has really good vision as well. I've been wondering about him. But he is a sixth round rookie. Coming from Utah State to starter for Andy Reid is a massive jump. But hey, Kareem never had a problem. This kid should've gotten more action by now. Especially since Shady fumble against GB and Williams fumble against TEN cost us two games. [Reply]
